Summerfield Township is located in northern Clare County and is bordered to the north by Missaukee and Roscommon counties. Summerfield Township encompasses a total of 35.9 square miles.

Summerfield Township is known for its snowmobile and ORV trails. These trails are used heavily throughout the year. People also enjoy other outdoor activites in Leota such as; camping, hunting, fishing, hiking and kayaking.

Notice to visitors- ATV/ORV Speed Limit is 25mph. on all roads. 
The Clare County Early Voting Precinct Canvass will be held on August 6, 2024
at 8:00 p.m. in Meeting Room A in the Clare County Building, 225 W. Main
Street, Harrison, MI 48625.
This is a public meeting and anyone may attend.
